Body Shop Peppermint Pumice Foot Scrub

This foot scrub is a must for the summer that I still believe is coming. If you are going to wear open-toed or open-back shoes, you must take care of your feet, or incur the wrath of Ladylipstick. And while we're on the subject, if your heels spill over the back of your open-back shoes, they are too small. This is the footwear equivalent of camel toe.
So, back to the foot scrub. This is to be used on wet skin. I would say that during flip flop months, use it twice a week. It feels fabulous, it is both abrasive, yet strangely spongy. It really smooths heels and the balls of your feet. Retail: um, yeah. It's out of stock online, so I couldn't get the price. I think it's $16.00.

Body Shop Coconut Body Butter

There is not one speck of this product left in the jar. I used every last bit! It's a thicker body butter, which makes it great for cold dry weather. There is no greasiness, and there is something immensely satisfying about smelling like coconut when it's snowing outside!

This is one of those products where the expectations exceeded the delivery. I was hoping for a fantastic scrub that left me feeling clean, soft and exfoliated. The reality? The grapefruit fragrance is wonderful, but as for the rest, it left me wanting more.

Body Shop Peach Body Lotion

I'm glad I got this one at half-price. It smells pretty, but the lotion is more slippery than moisturizing. Pass!

Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Leg Gel

This gel is used to soothe tired and achy legs and feet. It does a good job, it is cooling and refreshing. On hot days, I even used it on my arms.

However, it does have a high alcohol content, and so is drying to the skin. For my money, I would rather the cooling of the peppermint foot lotion. And before you ask, no, this is not appropriate to be used on a sunburn...unless you're into pain.
